Indigenous and Global South individuals and populations are pivotal in leading climate action due to their unique knowledge systems, deep-rooted connections to the land, and lived experiences of environmental changes. These communities often bear the brunt of climate impacts despite contributing the least to global emissions, making their leadership and perspectives crucial for effective climate solutions.

These communities are sadly often underrepresented in global events, and it is imperative that we bring them to the UK, to meet with the policymakers and business leaders who can help accelerate climate action overseas.

To change this dynamic, and to bring these voices to the Innovation Zero stage, we are inviting companies to reach out to us to help us develop a ‘Voices From the Global South’ programme. In partnership with Innovation Zero, you can sponsor an individual or delegation of Global South representatives to come to London as an attendee or speaker. This sponsorship provides a unique opportunity to support leaders from regions most affected by climate change, enabling their crucial voices and innovative perspectives to be heard on an international stage.
