Shaun Kingsbury CBE is a Co-Founding Partner and Co-Chief Investment Officer of Just Climate. Previously, Shaun was the founding CEO of the UK Green Investment Bank (GIB), which he ran from 2012 to its successful sale in 2017. Under his leadership, the GIB invested £3.4 billion of public funds and together with private capital, financed over £12 billion of transactions in green infrastructure assets throughout the UK.
Shaun is also the Chairman of Renewable Power Capital, a wind and solar company headquartered in London and Madrid which is backed by CPPIB, the Canadian state pension fund. Shaun has served as a director of a number of clean energy and green mobility businesses.
