Sean Sargent has been the Chief Executive of Green Lithium since January 2021. He trained as a Maritime Civil Engineer and is a Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers. Sean has worked in process and infrastructure programmes, predominantly in the nuclear industry, for the last 32 years. During this time, he was the Site Director at Berkeley Nuclear Power Station and Programme Director for a programme to retrieve, process and store intermediate level radioactive waste as part of the Magnox Decommissioning Programme. Sean worked for Jacobs Engineering during much of his career where, at different times, he led the nuclear new build business, the defence business and post-acquisition integration teams. He moved to Green Lithium to get involved with the Energy Transition.
