Sam’s wealth of professional experience crosses infrastructure and projects; government and infrastructure; advisory and commercial business development and delivery, making him well-suited to the challenges of this pivotal role.

Well-versed in investments, Sam's lateral approach and problem-solving attitude is central to his role at Plug Me In. Key in identifying and pursuing strategic business opportunities cross-sector, he constantly innovates, and has identified and implemented numerous system improvements for the business.

Instrumental in Plug Me In’s entry into the Heat sector, which now sees the business lead heat pump installations for the UK’s largest energy suppliers including British Gas and Scottish Power, Sam is a passionate advocate of heat pump technology. He believes the funding gap - currently appeased by the government grant - requires a longer term solution and is at pains to speak up and seek alternatives for businesses and homes. Here his personal belief in the drive for net zero dovetails with Plug Me In’s mission to drive smarter energy for all through decarbonisation.
