Rodney Berkeley is the Director for Sustainability and Infrastructure at the Department for Business and Trade. Rodney was previously the Director for Manufacturing, Energy and Infrastructure, before that Deputy Director of the Healthcare, Life Sciences and the Bioeconomy Directorate and interim Director of Healthcare UK. Prior to that he was Deputy Director for Business Relations and the Strategic Relationship Management programme at Department for International Trade. Before moving to the Department for International Trade, Rodney was the Director for Global Accounts at UK Trade and Investment (UKTI) leading the Financial Services, Life Science, Advanced Manufacturing and Innovation teams. Prior to that Rodney was Deputy Director of the Financial Services Organisation and before that he led the Technology and Creative Industries Teams focused on attracting foreign direct investment at UKTI. Rodney started his civil service career in the Department for Trade and Industry.
