Penny Fowler is Head of the Corporate Climate Team at ShareAction, a research and campaigning NGO working to promote responsible investment and hold the finance system to account for its impacts on people and planet. ShareAction facilitates collaborative investor initiatives aiming to strengthen investor knowledge and stewardship, and to accelerate corporate ambition and action on climate, biodiversity, health and good work. Penny is currently working with an investor coalition to engage with major European chemical companies on their climate transition plans.

Prior to joining ShareAction, Penny has worked for over 20 years in policy, influencing and campaigns in the public and third sectors, on a wide range of international development and climate-related issues including international trade, land rights, human rights in global supply chains and industrial decarbonisation. She developed and led Oxfam GB's private sector engagement and influencing strategy for over a decade leading ground breaking collaborative research projects with multinational companies, corporate accountability campaigns and innovative multi-stakeholder initiatives.
