Mark McKean is Head of Offshore Assets for Crown Estate Scotland’s Energy & Infrastructure business. Crown Estate Scotland’s purpose is to invest in property, natural resources and people to generate lasting value for Scotland and Mark’s role is to manage a growing portfolio of offshore energy infrastructure assets in and under Scotland’s seas. This includes over 4GW of offshore wind in construction and operation, a world leading portfolio of operating wave and tidal assets and 50 submarine cables and pipelines for electricity, data and oil & gas. Mark is a Chartered Civil Engineer and experienced Project and Programme Manager, with a background of infrastructure projects across transport, utilities, built development and the renewables sector.
