Jon Davies is Director of Network Operations and Intelligence, National Grid Electricity Transmission.

Responsible for the real-time operational control of National Grid’s Electricity Transmission network. Jon has significant expertise in the operation of transmission assets, joining National Grid in 2003 where he has held senior positions across the National Grid portfolio including electricity and gas transmission, and most recently as Operations Director for National Grid Interconnectors.  

Jon is a Chartered Engineer and has an MSc in Economic Operation of Power Systems and a BEng in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
