Gary Connolly is ESB’s UK Offshore Wind Development Manager and currently oversees ESB’s interest in 7 British development projects totalling almost 5GW, most of which are in Scotland. He is also responsible for ESB’s participation in any UK leasing rounds including The Crown Estate Round 5 leasing opportunity in the Celtic Sea as well as any forthcoming opportunity in Northern Ireland waters. He has worked in offshore wind since 2018 having previously been responsible for ESB’s early stage development of onshore wind projects in Ireland and the UK.
