If the UK government and its new Mission Control centre are committed to delivering a fully decarbonised grid by 2030, immediate and decisive action is required fast-track the rollout of renewable energy sources. With just five years left, more needs to be done to overcome barriers related to investment, planning, regulation and policy. Faced with these challenges, our panellists will discuss how both government and industry are working to address them and deliver the infrastructure needed for a renewable, flexible and secure energy system.
