The UK Infrastructure Bank is a niche investment bank, headquartered in Leeds. We are a policy bank, holding a unique postiion between the market and government.
Our mission is to partner with the private sector and local goverment to increase inrastructure invesmtent in pursuit of two strategic objectives:
Tackling climate change - helping the government meet its net zero 2050 goal and supporting regional and local ecocnomic growth - providing opportunities for new jobs and higher levels of productivity.
We are wholly owned and backed by HM Treasury, but we have operational independence in our investing activities and see partnership as pivotal to realising our ambitions.
