Kellas Midstream owns, manages, and operates critical energy infrastructure assets in the Central and Southern North Sea, including CATS (Central Area Transmission System) in Teesside, ETS (Esmond Transportation System) in Norfolk, and HGS (Humber Gathering System) in East Yorkshire.
As the energy industry transitions to net zero, we are bringing our experience and expertise in gas infrastructure to clean energy initiatives like low carbon hydrogen that will play a key role in industry decarbonisation and help the UK realise its 2050 net zero ambitions. This includes our low carbon CCUS-enabled blue hydrogen H2NorthEast project on Teesside that will contribute up to 10% of the UK's target hydrogen production capacity by 2030. We are also exploring gigawatt-scale green hydrogen production on Teesside.
