FLIT develops folding electric bikes for urban commuters to make city journeys fast, flexible, and fun.
Unlike competitors who typically electrify existing folding bike designs, FLIT’s ebikes are designed to be both folding and electric from scratch. This, combined with a patented fold, leads to lower weight, a more compact fold, and better integration of components.
With hundreds of riders already on the road, FLIT is currently launching its latest model, the FLIT M2, whose novel manufacturing process, developed through an Innovate UK grant, makes it even lighter and more compact.
FLIT works in the £11bn European ebike market which has grown by c.30% per year since 2006.
