As one of its leading energy from waste operators, enfinium is supporting the UK’s efforts to reach net zero.

We do this by operating four decarbonisation hubs, where we use waste that would otherwise go to landfill to generate homegrown energy. By managing 2.3 million tonnes of waste a year, we generate enough energy to power 500,000 homes.

And we’re going further. We are drawing on our 45 years of waste industry experience to deliver net zero carbon emissions from our operations by 2033. We are also developing pioneering carbon capture and storage technology to remove 1.2 million tonnes of carbon from the atmosphere by 2039.
