Engineering a Sustainable World

Mura is pleased to publish its participation in a short news-style programme, Engineering a Sustainable World, produced by ITN Business and in partnership with Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE). The programme, presented by Lukwesa Burak, looks at the role chemical and process engineers are playing in addressing climate change via our advanced recycling process HydroPRS™, the importance of collaboration within the plastics value chain, and why it’s critical to inspire the next generation of engineers. HydroPRS™ can recycle a wide range of plastic waste streams without limit, creating a circular economy from plastic and preventing it from polluting the environment. The piece showcases Mura's first HydroPRS™ site in Teesside, Northeast England, to which we welcomed members of the value chain to an Open Day on 26th October 2023.
