The Sulston and Ogilvie facilities now benefit from Smartcool's cutting-edge ESM and ECO3 systems. These technologies, designed to enhance the energy efficiency of HVAC-R systems, align perfectly with the institute’s commitment to achieving net-zero carbon emissions.
At the Sulston building, Smartcool’s ECO3 system was installed on a Mitsubishi heat pump as part of a proof-of-concept trial. The results were compelling:
