Composite Designers Ltd has launched a campaign to raise £500,000 in seed investment to fund a pilot production line. This pilot line, with a capacity of 5,000 units per day, aims to demonstrate the scalability of their manufacturing process and produce sufficient quantities for demonstrator projects. According to cost studies, this pilot line will be self-sustaining and will also serve as a research and development platform for other applications.
Upon proving feasibility, Composite Designers Ltd plans to secure further investment for a full-scale production line with an 80,000 parts per day capacity. Additionally, the company intends to license the process to interested parties globally.
