Levidian to highlight how innovative approaches to carbon capture and utilisation can unlock the business case for decarbonisation at Innovation Zero 2024
As a critical element of the UK’s Net Zero Growth Plan, CCUS will play a major role in helping the UK reach net zero by 2050. However, instead of capturing carbon and storing it in forms that have no economic value, just risk; Levidian believes that we should focus on using captured carbon to enhance the performance of materials, create value and further decarbonise our economy.
We are delighted to be attending Innovation Zero for a second year to showcase our innovative approach and contribute to the debate about how best to accelerate the transition to net zero.
At 11.30am on the first day of the conference, our CEO John Hartley will be speaking on an Industrial Forum panel discussing ‘Opportunities in Carbon Capture, Utilisation and Storage’. Here, he will discuss how captured carbon can unlock the business case for decarbonisation, how it can be put to good use and why it should be treated as a valuable asset rather than a waste product or liability.
As part of our exhibition presence, we will highlight how we are already supporting carbon-intensive industries to disrupt the status quo and convert carbon liabilities from a cost to a source of competitive advantage.
Underpinned by our patented LOOP technology which uses methane from landfill, bio gas, flare gas and natural gas as a feedstock, we support clients with:
-
Carbon Capture: Creating commercial value through pre-combustion carbon capture
-
Carbon Prevention: Reducing CO2 emissions by providing a viable hydrogen alternative to fossil-fuels
-
Carbon Utilisation: Enhancing the performance & efficiency of products using high-quality captured carbon in the form of graphene
Come and meet us at the show and find out more about our decarbonisation approach at stand G72.
