IN2TEC TO DEMO REUSE® AND RECYCLE™ TECHNOLOGY AT INNOVATION ZERO
PRESS RELEASE
IN2TEC TO DEMO REUSE® AND RECYCLE™ TECHNOLOGY AT INNOVATION ZERO
Attendees at Innovation Zero will have the chance to see In2tec’s trailblazing ReUSE® and ReCYCLE™ technologies in action on Stand H19.
In2tec is on a mission to reduce the world’s growing ewaste mountain and conserve precious and dwindling resources such as gold, silver, copper, platinum, aluminium, and cobalt through pioneering sustainable electronics.
The company’s signature robotics-led ReUSE® and ReCYCLE™ comprise a closed-loop process allowing manufacturers to remove components from existing electronics at the end of their useful life and reuse them.
ReUSE® is a suite of patented inks, adhesives, materials, and processes and utilises proprietary design techniques to manufacture printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs), while ReCYCLE™ is the ultra-low energy process for unzipping PCBAs back to the original bill of materials (BoM).
These technologies are the much-needed paradigm shift for the electronics industry and will be showcased at Innovation Zero, the UK's largest sustainability conference, taking place at London Olympia from April 30 to May 1. Attendees will see how components are returned without causing stress or damage, allowing for their reuse in other products or resale in the growing second-life market.
Emma Armstrong, Sustainable Electronics Ambassador at In2tec Ltd, said: “Our tech minimises waste by allowing the reuse of existing components, an essential step the electronics industry needs to take to prevent the ecological catastrophe represented by disposable technology.
“Innovation Zero attendees will enjoy an in-depth and fascinating showcase of our innovative technology that facilitates the extended life of products and allows the components to be reused in the manufacturing process – reducing the costs spent on components, preventing CO2e, mitigating WEEE charges, as well as creating additional revenue streams.”
The four presentations take place throughout both days at 9.30am, 11.30am, 2pm, and 4pm, and will comprise an overview of the history of ReUSE®, as well as an interactive demonstration of the way the ReCYCLE™ disassembles the boards.
Emma is presenting on electronics circularity in the Industrial Forum on 30th April at 12:25 and will run live demonstrations of the technology from the In2tec stand located at H19.
